Must Invest in a Maxi Skirt

A staple this summer, the maxi skirt. Good for hiding legs that aren't ready to see the sun, or in Ireland's case, ever-constant grey clouds. Simple yet effective.
I prefer nude chiffon ones, like this tan coloured one from American Apparel which I'm currently saving for. It would look great with a sleeveless leotard or  a worn out black vest top and some nude wedge heels, which are all the rage at the moment, and minimal accessories.
And not just a summer must-have. Maxi skirts will definitely prove well into the winter, teamed with a leather jacket and maybe some thermals!
